Scott has a life-long devotion to helping put young people on the path to great futures. He is excited to lead Heart of the City's staff and use his strengths to improve its focus on affordable soccer opportunities. He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a BSW in 1996.
Matt brings to HOTC decades of experience in private, nonprofit, and public sectors to HOTC. He is excited to use his broad fiscal management and resource stewardship to help make soccer and beyond accessible. He has a Bachelor's in Economics from Barat College.
Maria has been in non-profit development for nearly a decade. Her passion is bringing HOTC volunteers, donors and community members together to make positive changes in the lives of our players. Maria graduated from Augustana College with degrees in Business Management & Marketing and English Literature.
Dean has been involved in soccer all of his life. The natural progression after his professional playing days in England was coaching. Dean started out his coaching career with Derby County F.C. Academy and has since worked as a College Coach, Director of Coaching, and staff member of Illinois Youth Soccer Association.
Julio Serrano has a strong background in coaching with more than 20 years of experience, he has worked with children ranging from 5 years old through college aged soccer players. He has coached at Cañada College, Georgetown and University of Pikeville (both schools in the NAIA). Serrano holds several USSF National Licenses and NSCAA certificates. Additionally, Julio worked as a soccer coaching education instructor.
